Your piece is salvaged and customised by kimbralou.
As a guide, the original care label, amongst other labels kimbralou leaves intact, should be present as a guide. As a salvaged piece, original labels maybe fully faded or removed in their past history in the fashion lifecycle.
Kimbralou has showcased at 29 runways in the last 4 years and therefore, has amassed a large archived collection. The laundering of all archived pieces has been done in-house from comprehensive brand activity via runways, photoshoots, music videos and event attendance, worn by official Models with the brand.
Kimbralou can therefore recommend this tried and true process to care for a piece.
The use of warm water and a ‘napisan’ type product is used.
Most pieces are then spun dry, draped over a clothes horse or hung on a coat hanger in the fresh air.
1. Spot wash in the first instance
2. Always hand washed
3. Iron patches by laying a t towel over them and quickly pressing the hot iron with a firm stamping movement.
At the time of purchase, specific care instructions will be sent if a piece needs extra TLC.
